As a member of Professional Photographers of Canada, I am honoured to be awarded my ninth Accreditation!
This one was the hardest to achieve so far but it was the most rewarding. Not only did I spend countless hours in the cold and dark, I also had the chance to get outdoors and really push my limits in my techniques.
Trying to make an image that had enough detail in the darkness, capturing countless Aurora Borealis shots only to get a few good ones at a time, getting up before the crack of dawn to capture the sunrise at my first Convention in Banff in 2011 or waiting for the sun to set over the pier in White Rock, shooting the Milky Way for the first time in Utah, an Alan Doyle outdoor concert during the Canada Winter Games.
Each image brings a special memory. Sometimes it's fun to just shoot something for myself!
