Here's my list of things to do with my sister. How many can you check off?
Do a road trip together.
Give each other manicures.
Have a girl's night out.
Make jam together to give as gifts.
Have a (favourite actor) movie marathon.
Hike in a National Park together.
Play hookie to see a movie.
Go wine tasting.
Head west without a plan.
Downsize our wardrobe together.
Read the same book.
Give each other makeovers.
Make a quilt together.
Take an art class together.
Pick driftwood off the beach to make home decor items for each other.
Dress up as mermaids and photograph each other on a beach.
Gamble at the casino.
Go on a major shopping spree.
Visit a place (off the continent) that we have never been together.
Cherish each other every day.
“Sister is probably the most competitive relationship within the family, but once the sisters are grown, it becomes the strongest relationship.” ~ Margaret Mead
Competition...challenges...races...whatever we experienced growing up together, it definitely made us stronger. And even though my sister lives over 900 km away, we are still very close.
I grew up with my twin sister by my side. Sleeping in twin beds in the same room, sharing so many childhood dreams and secrets, raiding her clothes when she wasn't awake. No, wait, she did that to ME!
I'm the big sister in this family, due to the fact that I was born fourteen minutes before her. But the fact is she might have been the first born had she not wanted me to check first to see if it was clear to enter. She pushed me out! And we've been competitive ever since! But I love her anyway, flaws and all. She's FLAWSOME!
We turned 60 in 2019 and so this is the year I want to document our time together and preserve it in printed form. (Don't tell her she's getting an album from me for Christmas, ok?) I want to celebrate sisterhood by creating a beautiful coffee table book of fun and gorgeous photos of us to pass down to our children.
I want to do a Sisters Project for other fabulous sisters too! For me to start to create your project, please click on the form button, fill in a few details, answer a few questions, and I will be in touch! There will be a $125 non-refundable fee to hold your spot, and this will become a print credit towards product purchases from your session.
So who wants to be photographed by me and have a treasured keepsake to pass down to future generations? All you need is a willing sister (she has to be your sister!) and a day to play with me. I'm looking forward to meeting you both!
“Print allows me the opportunity to connect with my clients, give them better service, more than what they might be used to, by way of in-person sales. I show my clients the quality and value in the lasting impression printed products and albums give. If you want to feel cared for, and be able to pass down something exquisite to future generations, then invest in quality print products. I believe my clients truly deserve the best. That’s why I choose quality professional labs to create products for you and why I even guarantee my work.” ~ Terrill
