This week as I walked through Moore's Meadow I was pleasantly surprised to see the soft morning fog settling through the groves of birch and aspen. Fall is my favourite season. The weather is temperate, just the way I like it. I can remove my jacket when I get too warm. It's not quite scarf weather but I'm thinking it's time to change over my wardrobe and bring out more cozy sweaters.
I'm scouting out new locations to photograph my families this fall and found so many lovely spots in Moore's Meadow. If you're up for a bit of a hike (at least 15 minutes) we will find a wonderful backdrop of fall foliage and maybe even some mist or evening light! Too bad the lupines are just about gone, but I'll be checking back in springtime to do some spring sessions.
Bobbi, Kaitlyn and Gus, pictured above, enjoyed a fall session a few years ago. Cottonwood Island Park is also a favourite spot for many photographers. And the walk is so enjoyable there. We even had time to let chickadees land on outstretched hands! It's a nice flat walk for little ones, dog-friendly (on leash park), and a few nice bridges to be photographed on too. The river or train bridge make great backgrounds a well.
ONLY 10 SPOTS LEFT FOR FALL PORTRAIT SESSIONS!
Are you wanting to get family portraits done but just don't seem to have the time? Well, now's the time! It's as easy as giving me a call or text at 250-649-8422, and we will book a time. Don't hesitate, those yellow leaves I see now will soon be falling and then you'll have to wait until next year for your beautiful fall family portraits!

“Print allows me the opportunity to connect with my clients, give them better service, more than what they might be used to, by way of in-person sales. I show my clients the quality and value in the lasting impression printed products and albums give. If you want to feel cared for, and be able to pass down something exquisite to future generations, then invest in quality print products. I believe my clients truly deserve the best.
