"The best thing about us is our laugh. We have a very loud, throw back the head laugh." ~ Kimiko
Sisters! Can you believe they are moms in their thirties? I couldn't! The laughter and fun on a snowy December day, captured for them to treasure forever. That's what I love to see happen on a Sisters session. With the snow blowing in their faces, (and mine!) they played like they were teenagers again! Some moments I was laughing with them so much I had a hard time keeping my focus. Poor Kiyomi even got a face wash but kept on laughing through it! I think she enjoyed it!
With so many great images captured, it makes deciding on which ones to get a little harder, but the video I created for them made it a little easier to choose which ones to print.
The fresh snow provided a wonderful canvas on which to photograph them. The snow angels didn't turn out as I expected, but it was fun to try. Next time I will have to pack a ladder unless I find a higher hill to stand on! During a session, I'll try just about anything to get the shot I want.
Thank you, Kimiko and Kiyomi, for wanting to be part of my project. I hope you hang your prints where you can see them everyday!
I want to celebrate sisterhood by creating a beautiful coffee table book of gorgeous photos of wonderful sisters! It will be of sisters and their stories. From young to ageless, it doesn't matter.
To submit for consideration to be part of this project, please click on the form button, fill in a few details, answer a few questions, and I will be in touch! If you and your sister are selected to participate, there will be a $50 non-refundable fee to hold your spot, and this will become a print credit towards product purchases from your session.
Once the book is finished, let's all get together and have a party! So who wants to be photographed by me and become part of my book? All you need is a willing sister (she has to be your sister!) and a day to play with me. I'm looking forward to meeting you both!
